Been competing in several eisteddfods lately

Hello fellow bloggers! Today I was bored out of my brains and made a post of what has been happening lately in my life. The most exciting image, is the last one. I have been accepted into the Netherlands Summer Intesive program, which is a dance program where 60 people from all over the world are chosen. I am so excited to head over there at the end of July especially being my first time being overseas. The excitement is unbearable!

Hope you're all doing well,

Olden Days

First of all, I would like to apoligise for not posting anything in ages! May has been busy with eisteddfods and other commitments, so the ability to sew and take pictures has not been too high. So I am ever so sorry to all of you for just making you sit around and ponder on whether I have dropped off the face of the planet! I'm here! I was experimenting on a day I had off and found some incredibly old clothing. Feeling for a risk and huge sense of vintage I put on these high waist, long bright orange pants in huge contrast to my bleak grey top. I did my hair in a way I believe people would've done it in about the 1800's! Haha! It was just one of those moods.

My Life

To My Dear Followers,

My Sincerest apologies after having not posted in what feels like months! Its been a particularly busy stage for me and hopefully now I can get back on track with these posts! I realise that you know practically nothing of my life. I do not attend your typical school, but instead attend a full time dance school. I dance all day whilst doing a distant education which I basically do at home. To me, dancing is everything, its what I live, breathe and dream of. Whilst at the studio I took some pictures to post for you all to see.

Hopefully this makes up for the delayed posts!

Lunch at Mooloolaba

It's been a while since I posted on my blog and I do apoligise. I've been busy with school work, dancing and driving lessons. I'm coming close to getting my P's so the extra practice must go in! Today, after spending my first week back at dancing, I have had no time to do anything that would have involved using my camera except maybe taking photos of the blisters and bruises on my body. I don't think that would be the most ideal blog post... So today my mum, nanna and I went out to Mooloolaba and had a quite delicious lunch. It was a great opportunity to wear more of the new clothes I had bought from one of those many op shop expeditions. I am wearing my olive green shirt which I added this white little peter pan collar to, a long earthy yellowy-brown skirt and my classic (and favourite) circle sunglasses. I had never really dressed like this before and it was a look I was finally ready to visit and one I'm sure I'll be visiting more often!

Oh Deer!

Oh how I wish I was back on holidays! I miss them so much already and I want to go back to getting to wake up early and doing nothing, but that's not going to happen... These photos were actually taken on the holidays, on a chilly day where I had the opportunity to dress up in some new op-shopped winter clothing! This jumper was a highlight to my shopping! It features a deer on the front and is just so comfy and warm and excellent! I also am wearing some shorts I altered, white tights, and a beret just to keep my head warm. If your head is warm then the rest of your body will be too! Anyway I hope your enjoying your times back at school and what not. It's not as thrilling as holidays..

Brisbane

On the train

As I have mentioned so many times in previous posts, op shopping is like my life. I am constantly walking into them and purchasing so many things that I think I can turn into something decent to wear. To expand my op shopping range, me and my friends ventured to Brisbane by train in order to shop till we drop! I give in really easily to the constant bargains that surround me at op shops and I obviously purchased a few too many items. I practically have a whole new wardrobe for me now! I even bought new things to decorate my room with. It was a great excuse to get dressed up in my new bright yellow blazer, black strapless singlet, turquoise pants I altered and my matching turquoise wedges. As you can see I looked very vibrant in the city! Overall it was a great day and I now am feeling quite satisfied with the huge amounts of clothing I now own.
